- Born on April 12, 1981, in the village of Myroslavl, Baranivskyi district, Zhytomyr region. In childhood, he was left an orphan, and he was raised by his aunt along with his brother and sister. In 1996, he graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school in the village of Myroslavl, then attended a vocational technical school specializing as a "turner." From 1999 to 2000, he served in the mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In March 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a senior shooter in the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409, city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region). Since the spring of 2014, he was at the administrative border with the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea by Russian troops. From the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He took part in the battles for the strategically important height of Savur-Mohyla (Shakhtarsky district of Donetsk region) and for the village of Stepaniivka in the Shakhtarsky district of Donetsk region. During these battles, together with the platoon sergeant, under constant enemy mortar fire, he participated in the search for missing servicemen and equipment of the unit in enemy territory. In August 2014, during the assault and clearance of the city of Miusynsk in the Krasnolutsk city council of Luhansk region, he worked on tasks to clear streets and buildings for a week, capturing militants. On August 12, 2014, during another clearance operation and fighting with militants in the area of the city of Miusynsk, the group, which included Sergeant Nalyvaiko, came under enemy fire. During the battle, Viktor Nalyvaiko received a shrapnel wound to the head, from which he died. He was buried by his comrades-in-arms in the city of Miusynsk in a park near the school. On December 12, 2014, the serviceman was exhumed by the searchers of the "Evacuation-200" mission ("Black Tulip"). In May 2015, he was identified through DNA testing. On May 14, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Myroslavl, Baranivskyi district, Zhytomyr region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
