Віталій Дмитрович. Мігурін

Born on May 3, 1962, in the urban-type settlement of Ovidiopol in the Odesa region. Graduated from high school. Served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during mandatory military service. In January 2015, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 1st self-propelled howitzer artillery battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167 (field post V0849), city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 1, 2015, soldier Mihurin was killed while performing a combat mission in the area of the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region. He was buried in cemetery No. 2 in the urban-type settlement of Ovidiopol, Odesa region. On October 14, 2016, a memorial sign was unveiled in the urban-type settlement of Ovidiopol in honor of fellow countrymen who died during the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, among whom is the name V.D. Mihurin.
