- Sergeant Alla Yatsyuk was killed on April 13, 2022, in the Odesa military hospital as a result of an illness that developed during the defense of Ukraine. Alla was born in the village of Kuna, Vinnytsia region. From childhood, she sang a lot, loved Ukrainian folk songs, and actively participated in school concerts. After school, she graduated from the Haisin Medical College. She worked in her specialty. In her free time, she loved to grow flowers, take photographs, paint, and embroider. In 2016, she decided to start military service under a contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She held the position of combat medic in the 9th battalion "Vinnytsia Scythians" of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. Later, the battalion command offered her to head the canteen. Together with the unit, the woman was constantly in the ATO/JFO zone. Her comrades-in-arms called her Vasylivna. In extremely difficult conditions, she set up field kitchens, arranged temporary premises for the canteen and the warehouse, received, loaded, and delivered food, cooked meals, and ensured the transfer of food to the front line. From the first day of the full-scale war, Alla was at the forefront in the Kherson region. As the head of the unit's canteen, she evacuated and preserved the food, equipment, and property entrusted to her by the 9th battalion. In the Kherson steppes, the woman fell ill, but continued to work and organize the nutrition of the soldiers. On March 20, 2022, her 45th birthday, the forces left Alla, and she was hospitalized. Pneumonia was diagnosed as a complication of the coronavirus disease. A month later, she was killed in the intensive care unit. "Allochka, our dove, extremely kind, sincere, hardworking, delicate and at the same time so strong. She loved life so much, worked hard to make the world around her better, truly loved Ukraine, and gave her life for it. We lost a part of our heart, it is constantly bleeding," her sister Olga said. The servicewoman was buried in the village of Kryshtopivka, Vinnytsia region. At home, Alla was awaited by her daughters Tetiana and Svitlana, two little granddaughters Marharyta and Kira, mother Nina Pylypivna, and sisters Oksana and Olga.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
