Biography
Anastasia Kunytska Volodymyrivna was born in 1998 in the village of Urzuf, Mangush settlement council, in the Donetsk region. Later, she moved to the city of Mariupol, and she served in the military at the main base of the Azov Regiment - in her native Urzuf. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, she was in the city of Mariupol. Over time, she found herself in one of the Azovstal bunkers. Together with other women, Anastasia had the opportunity to leave the plant and exit Azovstal, but she refused because of her boyfriend, who also served in the Azov Regiment: "As long as Vlad is here, I won't leave!" She died on May 3, 2022, during an air strike on Azovstal. For personal courage and selfless actions displayed in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, Anastasia Kunytska Volodymyrivna was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Burial place
