Anatolii A. Karpinskyi

Sergeant Anatoliy Karpiński was killed on September 13, 2022, in a battle with Russian occupiers near the village of Sukhy Stavok in the Kherson region. The defender was 49 years old. Anatoliy Karpiński was born in the village of Brodets in the Rivne region. He received a complete secondary education and was trained as a tractor driver and machine operator. He worked for the company "Continental Farmers Group." The greatest value in his life was his family. He adored children and was already playing with his grandchildren. However, the invasion of the occupiers forced him to leave his loved ones and go to defend them. On March 29, 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after the Cossack Ataman Kosty Hordiienko. He underwent training and in May went to the front. He fought in Luhansk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions. "My husband had a good heart. He was devoted to his homeland and family," said Oksana Karpińska. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, his wife, children, and grandchildren were waiting for Anatoliy.
