Anatolii A. Kolesnykov (Boroda)

Soldier Anatoliy Kolesnіkov (call sign Boroda) was killed on November 29, 2022 in battle with the occupiers near the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. In December, the defender would have turned 47 years old. Anatoliy was born in the city of Ostroh, Rivne region. He stuwas killed at school No. 1. Then he obtained the profession of a driver at the Khotyn Vocational and Technical School. He served in the military. He got married. He worked as a driver at the local history museum in his hometown. From a young age, he was interested in cars, it was his hobby. In 2015-2016, he participated in the ATO. He was a driver of the engineering and technical platoon of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the full-scale war, the man fought for Ukraine in the ranks of the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after General-Chorister Marko Bezruchko. At first, he held the position of combat vehicle commander, then became a rifleman-sniper. "My dad was a good person, always had authority among friends, colleagues and relatives. He had friendly relations with the brothers-in-arms from the ATO times, and went to serve with one of them in our time. He came to help at the right moment. He sowed positivity among all his loved ones. He had an easy-going nature. Everyone who knew him could not believe in such a tragedy, because everyone had faith that he would definitely return alive. Not a single day has passed without us remembering my dad. Now every day we are reminded of him and his love for animals by the dog he brought from the ATO, as well as the cat that his brothers-in-arms and volunteers passed on to us after the death of my dad," the deceased's daughter Ivanna said. The defender was buried in his hometown. At home, Anatoliy was awaited by his wife, daughter, son with his wife and grandson.
