Anatolii A. Kucheriavyi

Kucheriavyi Anatolii Anatoliiovych was born on April 24, 1989, in the village of Vodiane, Shpolianskyi district, Cherkasy region. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he took up the defense of his native land. He held the position of squad leader of the assault platoon of the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar". In May 2022, he was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree. He died on September 4, 2022, during a fierce battle in the Donetsk region. He was buried in his native village of Vodiane. For personal courage and selfless actions, manifested in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath of Senior Soldier Kucheriavyi Anatolii Anatoliiovych, he was awarded the Order of Courage of the II degree (posthumously).
