Anatolii L. Herman (Talib)

Soldier Anatoliy German (call sign Talib) was killed in action on March 29, 2022, during the defense of his native Donetsk region from invaders. At positions near the town of Vuhledar, the defender came under enemy mortar fire. The warrior was 40 years old. Anatoliy was born and lived his whole life in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. He graduated from local school No. 9, then from vocational and technical school No. 28. He worked at an automotive transport enterprise in his hometown, engaged in the repair of radio equipment and electrical equipment. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man stood up to defend his native land. He served in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. "He was a man of his word, had a good heart. Loved Ukraine. He was a good husband and a loving father. We miss him very much, love him, remember him. Always in our hearts. Heroes never die...," said the fallen soldier's wife. "Heavenly kingdom to you, beloved brother. Eternal memory to our Hero," wrote sister. Anatoliy was buried in his native Kramatorsk. The defender is survived by his wife Oksana, daughter Adelina, and son Kirill.
