Anatolii M. Bohovid (Deputat)

Senior Sergeant Anatolii Bohovid (call sign Deputat) was killed on March 7, 2022, during the defense of Kyiv region from Russian occupiers. The defender received a fatal wound in battle near the village of Dmytrivka. Anatolii was born in the village of Pisky-Rychytski, Volyn region. He obtained the profession of electrician-mechanic at Volodymyr-Volynskyi College. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and mushroom picking. From 2016 to 2019, the man participated in the ATO/OOS. He was repeatedly awarded by the command with awards and certificates. During the full-scale war, Anatolii defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. He held the position of gunner. "My son was very generous and kind. He had many friends and loved his family very much," said the defender's mother, Nadiya. The serviceman was buried in his native village in Volyn. Anatolii left behind his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
