- Junior Sergeant Anatoliy Levchenko (call sign Lion, Mykovych) was killed on February 23, 2024 in a battle with Russian invaders near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhia region. The warrior was 52 years old. Anatoliy was born in the village of Bilohuby, Poltava region. He received secondary education. From an early age, he worked at the Sumy market in Kharkiv, selling meat. He did this all his life. He adored sports and discipline, led a healthy lifestyle and taught this to his children. During the full-scale war, on February 28, 2023, the man became a fighter of the National Guard of Ukraine and went to the front. He fought in the ranks of the 3rd Brigade of Special Purpose. He held the position of senior gunner. "My father was a man of his word and remained a hope and support for me all his life. I could always count on him. He gave me and my brother the best childhood. Our father is a Hero whom we will remember all our life," said Anastasia Levchenko. Anatoliy was buried in the Alley of Glory of cemetery No. 18 in Kharkiv.
