Anatolii O. Kharchenko (Tiulpan)

Sergeant Anatoliy Kharchenko (call sign Tulip) was killed on February 9, 2023, in battle with the occupiers near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 34 years old. Anatoliy was born in the village of Vyazove, Sumy region. After completing secondary education, he served conscription on the territory of Crimea. From a young age, he always stood on the side of truth and justice. Later, he obtained the profession of a cook at a vocational school. He worked in various fields, including as a waiter. His last job was at a sawmill. In his free time, he loved to draw. In 2015-2016, he participated in the ATO in Donbas and was awarded the "Honor Badge". During the full-scale war, in the summer of 2022, Anatoliy joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He became a rifleman-sniper of the 5th separate assault brigade. He fought on the hot fronts and sincerely believed in victory over the occupiers. "He was always a kind and sensitive person. Even if he had some problems, he constantly said that everything was fine. He also always helped everyone. He was cheerful, funny, honest. A person without a drop of rot, who is ready to give the last," said the sister of the fallen Snizhana. The defender was buried in his native village. Anatoliy is survived by his mother and three sisters.
