Anatolii O. Laputin (Ruiz)

Soldier Anatoliy Laputin (call sign Ruiz) was killed on January 26, 2023, during the assault on enemy positions near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. The warrior was 21 years old. Anatoliy was born in the village of Velykyi Klyn, Kherson region. He lived in the village of Hladkivka. He graduated from a secondary school there. Later, he studied to be a bartender at the Kherson Vocational School. However, he did not work in his profession. He went abroad to earn money. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Anatoliy could not remain on the sidelines. He joined the ranks of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He took the position of a machine gunner and went to the front line to defend the Motherland. "Unfortunately, the plans for the future of our young fellow countryman were not destined to come true - they were destroyed by the cruel war. Anatoliy painfully perceived the terrible events on the front line and in the occupied territories, so at the first opportunity, in November 2022, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Eternal memory and honor to the Hero!" - said the Kherson Regional State Administration. "My ANGEL is my universe, it is my world, it is my everything," wrote the mother of the fallen Iryna. The young fighter was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Geologists' Cemetery in Kherson. Anatoliy is survived by his mother.
