Anatolii O. Tsytovych

Sailor Anatoliy Tsitovych (call sign Mowgli) died on August 10, 2023 near the settlement of Urozhayne in the Donetsk region. As a result of massive shelling during the assault on enemy positions, the warrior received a fatal mine-explosive injury and multiple shrapnel gunshot wounds. The defender was 37 years old. Anatoliy was from the settlement of Novoaidar in the Luhansk region. He obtained a construction profession at the Veselovsky vocational technical school. He worked for himself in the field of repair and construction. During the full-scale war, he defended the country as part of the 88th separate battalion of the marine corps. He held the position of a grenade launcher team member in the marine corps platoon of the marine corps company. "I loved and love my husband infinitely," wrote his wife Viktoria. The defender was buried in the cemetery in the village of Mlynivtsi in the Ternopil region. Anatoliy left behind his wife Viktoria and son Artem, who was 7 years old at the time of his father's death. Sailor Anatoliy Tsitovych was posthumously awarded the President's Decoration "For the Defense of Ukraine" and the badge of the 35th separate brigade of the marine corps "For the Assault".
