Anatoliy was born in the village of Zaturtsi in the Volyn region. He graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. He worked in the tax police and retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He dedicated his life to sports and was passionate about hand-to-hand combat. He was proficient in firearms. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Anatoliy served as an instructor in the volunteer battalion of operational response "Lutsk." He then joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a gunner in the 214th separate special battalion "OPFOR." "My husband, having served to the rank of lieutenant colonel, at the age of 58 went to war as a private. He said that experienced people, not inexperienced youth, should defend our Ukraine. He could not bear to see the bodies of young boys being brought back, who still had their whole lives ahead of them. He was very kind. All friends, relatives, and loved ones knew that he would help in any situation. He was our support, our protector," said the wife of the fallen, Oksana. "Pavlovych, our unit will remember you as long as our hearts beat. You taught the young and fell as a warrior yourself. A lieutenant colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who went as a soldier in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Rest in peace. We will take revenge," noted his comrades. Anatoliy was buried in the village of Harazhdzha in Volyn. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
