Anatolii S. Pokutnii

Anatoly Serhiyovych Pokutny was born on October 4, 1993, in the village of Adampil, Khmilnytskyi Oblast. In 2009, he graduated from the Adampil Secondary School of I-III Degrees. He studied at a vocational mining lyceum, where he obtained the profession of a miner. He worked in a mine in the city of Ternivka. On April 22, 2019, he was drafted into the army and sent to Lviv. In 2021, he signed a contract with the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade, was appointed a gunner in the airborne assault battalion of the airborne assault company, and went to defend the Motherland on the front line in the fall. Soldier of the 1st company, 3rd platoon, 13th Separate Airborne Assault Battalion of the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade. During the period from October 31, 2021, to February 23, 2022, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, in particular in the area of the village of New York. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he has been defending Ukraine. From March 25, 2022, he was considered missing after the assault on the village of Kamyanka in the Izyum district of Kharkiv Oblast. On the night of March 24-25, 2022, the village was completely captured by Russian soldiers. The body of the deceased Anatoly remained on the battlefield for half a year, and in September 2022, the hero was buried in his native village.
