Anatolii V. Kulkovets (Dok)

49-year-old Senior Sergeant Anatoliy Kulkovets (call sign Doc) was killed on April 25, 2024 in a battle near the settlement of Vyimka in the Donetsk region. The defender came under enemy mortar fire and received fatal injuries. Anatoliy was born in the village of Velyki Tseptsevychi, Rivne region. He obtained a veterinary education at the Polissya National University. He worked in his profession. Until 2021, he held the position of head of the veterinary clinic in his native village, then was transferred to the Volodymyrets veterinary clinic as a veterinarian. He was interested in medicine. The man was called up for military service on January 28, 2023. He took the position of a combat medic in the 33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. In October, he was transferred to the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade. There he held the position of a shooter, but also performed the duties of a combat medic. During his service, he was awarded the distinction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Golden Cross". "My dad is the best and smartest person with a big heart. He never refused anyone and helped everyone," said Kateryna Kulkovets. The defender was buried in his native village. Anatoliy is survived by his father, wife and daughter.
