Anatolii V. Pak

21-year-old senior soldier Anatoly Pak was killed on August 29, 2022, during an offensive in the area of the village of Lyubomyrivka in the Mykolaiv region. An enemy anti-tank missile hit the T-72 tank, which Anatoly was a crew member of. The defender received fatal shrapnel wounds. Anatoly was born in the village of Khalcha, Kyiv region. He graduated from the Rzhyshchiv Professional Lyceum. After studying, the guy decided to connect his life with military affairs. In 2019, he signed a contract with the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Daniel. He served in a tank battalion. When the full-scale invasion began, Anatoly was a senior mechanic - driver of a tank platoon. As part of the unit, the guy defended Ukraine from Russian occupiers in Donbas, and later in the Mykolaiv region. Three days before his death, senior soldier Anatoly Pak received the Order "For Courage" of the III degree for the defense of the city of Popasna, Luhansk region. "He was brave, never saw fear in anything, always went to the end, believed most in our victory and was generous and loving," his sister Nadia said. The young defender was buried in his native village in the Kyiv region. A military honorary salute sounded over the grave of the deceased hero. At home, Anatoly was waiting for his parents, two sisters, and a brother.
