Anatolii V. Palionyi

Palony Anatoliy Valeriiovych was born on January 26, 1976 in Poltava. In 1997, he graduated from the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University. From 2014, he served in the 208th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade in Mykolaiv. Participant of the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. In 2021, he took the position of commander of the technical battery of the 208th Brigade. From the first minutes of the Russian invasion in 2022, he took part in the defense of Ukraine. The unit commanded by Anatoliy Palony neutralized 5 Russian aircraft, 8 helicopters, 28 cruise missiles, and 31 UAVs of various types. He was killed on October 28, 2022. He was buried on October 31, 2022 in Karlіvka, Poltava region.
