Anatolii V. Peteichuk

Territorial Defense Fighter Anatoly Peteychuk was killed in action in July 2022 in battles for Luhansk region. The defender was 29 years old. Anatoly was born in Zakarpattia. He was the youngest child in a large family. The large family lived in the village of Uglya, Zakarpattia region. The boy finished the local school, later worked on different jobs. When a full-scale war began, Anatoly did not wait for a summons, but voluntarily enlisted in the territorial defense. He served in the 118th battalion of the 111th separate brigade of the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The serviceman was buried in the village of Uglya in Zakarpattia. Residents of the villages through which the procession passed laid candles and flowers along the road. Anatoly left behind his parents, brothers, sisters, and son. The defender's brother, Mikhail Peteychuk, in this war a month later - in August 2022.
