Anatolii V. Stefutin

Senior Sergeant Anatoly Stefutin was killed in action on July 21, 2022, in a battle near the village of Spirne in Donetsk region. The defender was 41 years old. Anatoly was from Donetsk. He had his own business there - a baguette workshop. In 2014, when Russian occupiers came to his city, the man left everything and moved with his family to Bucha in the Kyiv region. He rebuilt his business, which entered the international market, - the trading brand "Arabesque". The company specialized in the production of easels and embroidery machines. 90% of the export volume was exported abroad. However, the full-scale invasion of Russian troops again forced the Stefutin family to flee from the war. But this time Anatoly took his relatives away, and he himself returned to defend Ukraine. He joined the 10th separate mountain assault brigade and went to the hot spots of his native Donetsk region. In July 2022, the man managed to come to his relatives for a few days, and a week later he was killed in action. "Whatever he did, everything was of the highest level and quality. A great workaholic, he loved his job very much, he managed to do everything from a new place, from a clean slate. He loved people, loved work, family," - said Denis Yakovenko, a friend of Anatoly, at the farewell ceremony. "He always wanted to do something, couldn't sit and rest for a day. It's hard on the positions, you need to rest for some time, he came, washed, shaved and wanted to go back to the positions," - said Alexander Kim, a fellow soldier, to journalists. The serviceman was buried in Bucha. Anatoly's mother, wife, and daughter remained.
