- Born on June 2, 1976, in the city of Khmelnytskyi. In 1991, he graduated from secondary school No. 11 (now Gymnasium No. 2) in the city of Khmelnytskyi. Worked as a driver at various enterprises in the city of Khmelnytskyi. In July 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 7th separate automotive sanitary company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V2581, city of Khmelnytskyi). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On February 9, 2015, the crew of the ambulance vehicle of the 7th separate automotive sanitary company, which included Mykhailo Balyuk and Anatoliy Sulima, along with paramedic Serhiy Katsabin, left the position "Krest" (the city of Debaltseve, Donetsk region) to evacuate the wounded to the city of Artemivsk (now Bakhmut) in the Donetsk region. On the way to the city, near the village of Lohvynove in the Artemivsk district, the ambulance vehicle was ambushed and hit a mine (according to other sources, it was hit by a shot from an anti-tank grenade launcher). As a result of the explosion, four servicemen were killed, including Anatoliy Sulima; one wounded soldier managed to survive, being thrown from the vehicle by the blast wave. On February 25, 2015, he was buried at the Alley of Glory in the cemetery of the city of Khmelnytskyi (Rakovo microdistrict).Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
