Anatolii V. Tsarapkin (Starenkyi, Tsar)

Soldier Anatoliy Tsarapkin (call sign Starenky, Tsar) was killed on April 14, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 40 years old. Anatoliy was born in the village of Aprilivka in Crimea. He completed 9 grades at the Nosachevytska school in Volyn. From the age of 18, he began working in the construction industry, doing apartment renovations in Kyiv. He was a passionate patriot, participating in all Maidans and revolutions. Since 2018, he lived in the city of Pyatykhatky, Dnipropetrovsk region. On January 27, 2023, the man went on a contract service to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He joined the ranks of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade and went to the front line. "He was a kind, sincere, generous and sensitive person. He never regretted anything for his family. He had many plans for the future. He loved to go on vacation in nature with his family. He loved to arrange surprises and give gifts. He dreamed that peace would reign in Ukraine. He really wanted to go to the sea in our Ukrainian Crimea, where he was born. The stepmother told the daughter of the civilian wife of the deceased, Anna, that he went to protect the children of Ukraine," the daughter said. The defender was buried in the city of Pyatykhatky, Dnipropetrovsk region. Anatoliy is survived by his civilian wife, brother, two sisters, and children.
