Anatolii V. Vasylyk

Anatoliy Vasylovych Vasylyk was born on May 28, 1994, in the village of Bilousivka, Voznesensky District, Mykolaiv Oblast. The exact date of birth is unknown, as he was found under a children's home and had no data with him. May 28 was recorded in the documents, as every person has the right to their special day in the year. In 1998, he moved to Western Ukraine, to the village of Vyshnivka, Snyatyn District, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. After finishing school in the village of Hanykivtsi, he trained as a tiler in Ivano-Frankivsk. He went to Kyiv for work, sometimes working locally in various jobs. A honest and kind boy, Anatoliy Vasylovych always took care of his younger brother, teaching him the true values of life. He greatly valued his adoptive parents. In February 2016, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A soldier, a gunner of the 10th separate mountain infantry brigade. He was killed on July 23, 2016, in the area of the city of Marinka, Donetsk Oblast, by a sniper's bullet during a combat clash with the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance group. He was buried on July 27, 2016, in the village of Vyshnivka in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
