Biography
Born and raised in the city of Skvyra, Kyiv Oblast, in a large family. His father was a miner, and his mother worked at a brick factory. From early childhood, he worked hard, becoming independent and responsible at a young age. After graduating from school, he entered a vocational school, where he learned to be a tractor driver. From 1986, he served in Afghanistan, where he sustained a concussion, shrapnel wounds, and gunshot wounds. He worked as a janitor and then, after obtaining an education, as a plumber in the housing and communal services sector of Kyiv. He worked in a construction company, becoming a jack-of-all-trades – he could even build a house himself. He was married twice, and his first marriage produced a daughter and a son. With the beginning of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in 2014, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his homeland. He fought almost continuously on the front lines, in sector "S", in the cities of Volnovakha, Artemivsk, and Avdiyivka. In 2014-2015, he served in the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo (5th battalion, 13th company, 1st platoon). In 2016-2017, he served in the 72nd Mechanized Brigade named after Black Zaporozhians (2nd mechanized battalion, 4th company, 1st platoon). In total, he spent three years in the ATO zone.Military service
