- Kolyada Anatoliy Yuriyovych was born on December 16, 1990, in the village of Chapliyivka, Shostka district, Sumy region. After finishing school, the young man went to study to become a veterinarian. In 2015, Anatoliy enlisted in the contract service of military unit 3022 of the National Guard of Ukraine. He served in the 2nd regiment for the protection of particularly important state objects of the National Guard of Ukraine in the city of Shostka. On February 24, 2022, when the Russian Federation began a full-scale invasion of its troops into the territory of Ukraine, the forces and means of military unit 3022 of the National Guard of Ukraine, where Anatoliy Kolyada served, were brought to full combat readiness. Performing combat missions, the personnel of military unit 3022 partially left the permanent location and were sent to organize duty at checkpoints on the Kyiv-Chernihiv highway. On March 30, 2022, Senior Sergeant, Senior Controller (gunner) of the armored vehicle platoon of the special purpose unit of military unit 3022 of the National Guard of Ukraine, Anatoliy Kolyada, as part of a group of servicemen, was performing a reconnaissance combat mission near the city of Chernihiv. Around 5:40 PM, after completing the task, the group of special forces was under enemy mortar fire at the intersection of Urozhaina and Aviatsiona streets. As a result of one of the explosions, Anatoliy Kolyada was seriously wounded. Despite the efforts of doctors, he died from his injuries at the Chernihiv Regional Hospital. The solemn farewell to the military took place on April 3, 2022, in Shostka, Sumy region. For personal courage and selfless actions, displayed in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Anatoliy Yuriyovych Kolyada was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously).Memory Book of the MIA System
