Brovinskyi Andrii A

Andrii's family moved to Ukraine from a military town in Russia when he and his twin brother Oleksandr were 13 years old. The brothers were called up for military service together during mobilization. During a mortar shelling, Andrii shielded his brother, and Oleksandr suffered a severe concussion. Battalion commander Colonel Serhii Ivanov: "Andrii is my first soldier to die. He was a brave and courageous warrior, and now he has become the guardian angel of the battalion. Andrii will always be with us."
