Andrii A. Kravchenko

Born on February 24, 1987, in the city of Zaporizhzhia. Graduated from secondary school No. 75 in Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia Metallurgical Lyceum with a specialty in "roller." In 2005-2006, he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Before mobilization, he worked as a locksmith in the equipment repair shop of the Zaporizhzhia Ferroalloy Plant. On April 2, 2014, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a shooter in the 3rd platoon of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302, the urban-type settlement of Cherkaskoye, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). Since April 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 21, 2014, Senior Soldier Kravchenko was killed by a sniper bullet to the head while patrolling in the area of the city of Dobropillya, Donetsk region, when militants ambushed and fired on a column of military personnel. On June 23, 2014, he was buried at the "Bugayovo" cemetery in Zaporizhzhia.
