Andrii A. Orobchuk

Military serviceman Andriy Orobchuk was killed on August 12, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. During an enemy artillery shelling, he received a fatal gunshot shrapnel wound. The defender was 32 years old. Andriy was born in the village of Kosohirka, Khmelnytskyi region. He stu as a carpenter at the Khmelnytskyi Professional Building College. He worked in construction. In 2016-2018, he participated in the ATO / JFO. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, on February 25, 2022, the man again went to defend his country from the enemy. He served in the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. He held the position of deputy commander of the combat vehicle - gunner-operator. "Andriy with honor and dignity fulfilled his duty as a citizen of Ukraine and a patriot to defend his state. Until his last breath, he remained faithful to his comrades, his people, and his Fatherland. He is a real hero," said his niece Nadiya Karvatska. The warrior was buried in his native village. Andriy's mother, sister, and nephews remained.
