"Dad fulfilled his duty as a citizen of Ukraine with honor and dignity. Until his last breath, he remained faithful to his comrades-in-arms, friends, family, and his Motherland. My brother and I are proud of our dad, his courage, and strength of spirit. Not everyone can, looking death in the eye, stand shoulder to shoulder with comrades, not fearing for their lives, rescuing and helping others. He bravely fought for the freedom of his country," wrote Karina Panchoshna. "He was a kind and friendly person and a friend," they said in the Ichnia community.
