- Sergeant Andriy Stadnik (call sign Vovchara) was killed on November 7, 2022, during a battle for the city of Soledar in the Donetsk region. The defender suffered a fatal explosive injury. He was 45 years old. Andriy was born in the village of Lyman, Kharkiv region. He graduated from the Lyman Lyceum. Later he settled in the village of Chemuzhovka, Kharkiv region. He worked as a superintendent at the Chemuzhovka Lyceum. He had many hobbies: he was a beekeeper, loved working with wood, was fond of hunting and fishing. In 2019, he went on a military contract service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodny Yar". He was a driver-mechanic. After the full-scale invasion, he defended Derhachi and Izium in the Kharkiv region, and then went to defend Bakhmut and Soledar in the Donetsk region. He was awarded the "For the Defense of Soledar" distinction. "His life has been hanging by a thread many times, there were several concussions, he carried wounded comrades on his own shoulders. He was a kind, sincere person, respected by everyone who knew him. A loving father and grandfather. He was not afraid to go against influential people, he was like a father to his comrades, and they took an example from his actions," said the deceased's daughter Karina. The defender was buried in the village of Chemuzhovka, Kharkiv region. Andriy left behind a wife, two sons, two daughters and five grandchildren.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
