- Soldier Andrii Yefimchuk (call sign Fima) died on September 18, 2023 near the village of Verbove in the Zaporizhia region. During the performance of a combat mission, he received injuries incompatible with life. The defender was 39 years old. Andrii was from the village of Vyhoda in the Odesa region. He graduated from school, then entered the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky, and really wanted to become a football coach. For a long time, he worked at the enterprise "TIS-Zerno", he was a CNC operator. He was passionate about football. He defended the country as part of the 132nd separate reconnaissance battalion, holding the position of reconnaissance observer in the 3rd reconnaissance platoon of the 3rd reconnaissance company. He was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree and the Honorary Distinction "For Merits to the City" (Pivdenne). "Andrii was a very bright, sincere, kind and cheerful person, he loved life, he loved his daughter very much! He always came to help. Conflict-free, always smiling," said his wife Olha. The defender was buried in the city of Pivdenne in the Odesa region. Andrii is survived by a daughter, mother, wife and brother.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
