- 27-year-old serviceman Andriy Fedor was killed on January 5, 2023 in a battle with the occupiers near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. He last made contact on December 12, 2022, when he was in the village of Yakovlivka. Andriy was born in the city of Khodoriv, Lviv region. He studied at the Ivano-Frankivsk Professional Polytechnic Lyceum. He was interested in cars and everything related to them. He worked as a taxi driver. He went to Poland to earn money. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a driver in the grenade launcher section of the fire support. "He always went to the House of God and made donations, even before he disappeared, he made a donation. He was a loving father and a good friend, he was always ready to come to the rescue," said the deceased's cousin Solomiya. "A very devout parishioner, a practicing Christian, a courageous defender, a kind and well-mannered guy gave his life for Ukraine. He very much believed in the Lord's help, often asked for prayer, and shortly before his death transferred funds for flowers for the church. He loved God so much, and He took him to Himself. Our parish now has another Guardian Angel. Eternal peace to you, Andriy. Thank you for our protection!" - said in the church where the deceased attended. The warrior was buried in his hometown.
