Andrii D. Poberezhnyk

Andriy Dmytrovych Pobereznyk was born on December 13, 1987 in Ternopil. He graduated from Ternopil Secondary School-Lyceum No. 13 named after Andriy Yurkevych, the Lyceum of the Halytskyi College, and the Krainyi College, and the Lviv State University of Life Safety. With the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, he participated in combat operations as part of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, particularly in the battles for Debaltseve. After the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he went to the front again. He held the position of a rifleman-assistant grenadier in the 3rd Mountain Assault Platoon, 1st Mountain Assault Company, military unit A3715. He was killed on June 19, 2022 during enemy artillery shelling near Lysychansk in Luhansk region. He was buried on June 22, 2022 at the Mykulyntsi Cemetery in Ternopil.
