- Soldier Andrii Prodan was killed on September 10, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Spirne in Donetsk region. In August, the defender turned 28 years old. Andrii was born in the village of Bilivtsi in the Ternopil region. He stu at the Vyhodskyi Secondary School. He then enrolled in the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University. After graduation, he went to work abroad. In his free time, he loved playing football and often participated in competitions. He was also passionate about motorcycles. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion, Andrii immediately decided to defend his homeland. On February 26, 2022, he became a fighter in the 105th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade. He took the position of a shooter and went to war. He participated in the defense of Donetsk region. He dreamed of a free Ukraine and wanted to live very much. He planned to come home on leave and marry his beloved. “Very positive, active, smart, and hardworking. You were never indifferent. I will be proud of you for the rest of my life, your strength, courage, your desire to live, love, and be free. You meant everything to us. Thank you for protecting us until your last breath. I know you will never leave us and will always guard us. You are our angel, you are our Hero, our life! In the last message, I wrote that I love you, and you read it. You went to heaven with love,” wrote the fiancée of the fallen soldier. The soldier was buried in his native village. Andrii is survived by his father Dmytro Andriiovych, mother Hanna Yosafativna, sisters Maria, Halyna, and Olha, and fiancée Bohdana.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
