Andrii D. Shlipunov (Vuiko)

Senior soldier Andriy Shlypunov (call sign Vuyko) was killed on June 3, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Toshkivka, Luhansk region. The defender was 38 years old. Andriy was born in the village of Sloboda-Yaltushkivska, Vinnytsia region. He received a secondary technical education as a welder. He defended Ukraine since 2015. He took part in the ATO in Donbas. He was repeatedly awarded by the command with awards. During the full-scale war, Vuyko served in the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Koshovy Otaman Kostyantin Gordienko. As part of the fire support company, he continued to defend his native land from Russian occupiers. He was a person with an unbreakable character and principles, without hesitation, he stood up to defend the Motherland from the very beginning of the war of Russia against Ukraine. Nothing can heal the wounded hearts of loved ones.
