- Born on December 13, 1990, in the village of Bryukhovychy, Peremyshliany district, Lviv region. Graduated from the general education school in the village of Kosteniv, Peremyshliany district, Lviv region. In 2012-2013, he served in the mandatory military service in the 80th separate airborne order of the Red Banner regiment of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0284, Lviv city). Since August 30, 2013, he served under contract in the 80th separate airborne order of the Red Banner brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0284, Lviv city). Since April 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 17, 2014, soldier Kostyrka was killed as a result of shelling by Russian-terrorist groups using BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers at the International Airport "Luhansk." On July 23, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Bryukhovychy, Peremyshliany district.
