Andrii L. Davyskiba

35-year-old combat medic Andriy Davyskiba (call sign Chaos) died on April 17, 2024, at the Chernihiv Regional Hospital. On April 9, he sustained a mine-explosive injury while performing a combat mission near the village of Hremyach in the Chernihiv region. Andriy was born in the village of Sutysks, Vinnytsia region. He studied at the Odesa State Agrarian University. He lived with his family in Vinnytsia. He worked as a veterinarian on a farm. He constantly improved his knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine. He spent his free time with his daughter and wife. During the full-scale war, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 144th Separate Infantry Brigade. He was a senior combat medic in the company. "My beloved was a wonderful person. Very kind and generous. He could give his last t-shirt to a friend. He always came to visit his relatives or godchildren with gifts and sweets. He adored his daughter - she was and is his princess. Daughter Dianka is very similar to Andriy. He loved children so much and dreamed that we would have two princess daughters. All the nephews loved him because no one else knew how to play with them and spoil them like Andriy. Andriy worked a lot, as he was a veterinarian on a farm. This job required presence on weekends and holidays. But he devoted all his free time to his daughter. For our family, the loss of our beloved husband and father is so huge that it has turned us and our lives into sheer pain," shared the defender's wife, Iryna. The warrior was buried in his native village. At home, his mother, wife, and daughter were waiting for him.
