Andrii L. Fedorenko (Vovk)

27-year-old senior soldier Andriy Fedorенко (call sign Wolf) was killed on November 18, 2022, in the area of the village of Kozachi Laheri in the Kherson region. He sustained a fatal injury during a battle with the occupiers as a result of enemy tank shelling. Andriy was born in the village of Dokuchaieve in the Kirovohrad region. He lived in the village of Dmytrivka in the Mykolaiv region. He graduated from the Novobuzky Vocational College with a degree in Agronomy. He worked at the Kazankiv Correctional Colony No. 93. He loved going hunting with friends and fishing with his family. With the onset of full-scale war, he took up the defense of his homeland. He fought in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after the Ataman Kostiantyn Hordiienko. He was a shooter and a scout. "My husband left his job from the first days and went to defend our village with the words: 'Who, if not me, will protect you and my son?'. He was in the security company at the TCK, then voluntarily transferred to the 57th Brigade. He was very brave and courageous. Every day he faced death and still insisted on defending his loved ones and the state! He was the best father, husband, son, friend, and comrade. My Andryushka, he will forever be in my heart!" said the soldier's wife. The defender was buried in the village of Dmytrivka in the Mykolaiv region. At home, Andriy was awaited by his wife Kateryna, son Tymofii, relatives, and friends.
