- Junior Sergeant Andriy Reznikov (call sign Feather) was killed on November 7, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Yampolivka in Donetsk region. On November 25, he would have turned 41 years old. Andriy was born and lived in Lviv. He studied at school No. 69. He then graduated from the Lviv Vocational College of Food and Processing Industry. In 1999, he served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). He also pursued higher technical education in Ariel, where he later worked for some time. In 2010, he returned home and engaged in entrepreneurial activities. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hiking in the mountains. On February 24, 2022, he joined the ranks of defenders and went to the front. He served in the 217th battalion of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Andriy returned from Israel to Ukraine because he truly loved it. He dreamed of a big family and developing a business — tourist excursions in Ukraine," his mother Valentina Anatoliivna said. The soldier was buried at Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. Andriy is survived by his mother, brother, wife, and daughter. Posthumously, Andriy Reznikov was awarded the Order of Courage III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
