- Senior soldier Andrii Bikush (call sign Nervous) was killed on June 6, 2022, while performing a combat mission due to enemy artillery shelling near the village of Zvanivka in Donetsk region. The fighter was 34 years old. Andrii was born and lived in Kyiv. He graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic College. He worked in various fields but found his calling in a direction related to medicine. He held the position of logistics department head at the company "3d-farm." He loved sports, practiced rowing, MMA, and combat sambo. In his free time, he also enjoyed fishing. During the full-scale war, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He became a fighter in the 43rd separate artillery brigade named after Hetman Taras Tryasilo. He served as the number of the gun crew in a self-propelled artillery platoon. "Andrii adored his family: his wife and little son, his mother, two sisters — for them, he was the universe; for his wife's family, he became a beloved son. Andrii was part of the lives of many people. Honest, fair, with a special sense of humor, always positive, the life of the party, ready to help at any time. On March 20, 2022, as a true patriot of his homeland, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect those he loved the most — his family. He was only 34 years old… I am happy to have had such a worthy, brave, loving, kind, caring, and reliable husband. Thank you sincerely, dear, my deepest bow to you, Hero of Ukraine, for our life! Thank you!” — wrote the wife of the fallen, Natalia. The defender was buried at Berkovetske Cemetery in Kyiv. Andrii is survived by his mother, sisters, wife, and son.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
