- Junior Sergeant Andriy Boiko (call sign Attache) was killed on April 6, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. The defender was 26 years old. Andriy was born and lived in Ivano-Frankivsk. He studied at school No. 7 and the Physics and Technology Lyceum. He obtained a higher education at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. He later studied at the postgraduate school of King Danylo University. From 2017, he worked as an operator at TRC "Vezha". He filmed and edited stories for news broadcasts. He created author's TV programs and YouTube projects. He soon became the chief operator. He then registered as an entrepreneur. In 2018, together with a team of like-minded people, he founded the company "Lampa group", which was later renamed "YANG.agency". Under his leadership, they created video content, including social and advertising videos, TV programs, and provided SMM support for companies and brands. He studied at the "School of Leaders". In 2018, he joined the "People's Movement of Ukraine". He headed the "Young Movement" in Ivano-Frankivsk. He belonged to the youth group "Voices of the Word" at the UGCC. He was interested in history. During the full-scale war, Andriy joined the TRO ZSU forces. He served in the 102nd separate territorial defense brigade named after Colonel Dmytro Vitovsky. He was a squad commander. He fought in the Zaporizhzhia region. He received a concussion, but after rehabilitation, he immediately returned to the front line. "And we are somewhere here, and you are somewhere there / But we see the same stars / That write different fates for us / To die here, so that they may live there..." - Andriy wrote in a poem on the eve of his death. "Andriy was interested in history and politics. He knew a lot of interesting information, and his stories were captivating and informative. He always strived to bring benefit to the world and make it better. He was a very conscious person, putting a lot of effort into influencing his environment. Andriy constantly participated in various volunteer projects and actively supported charitable initiatives. I feel a deep respect for his spirit and perseverance in achieving his dreams and goals. He was always an example for all of us and an inspiration to transform Ukraine into the best place to live," said his classmate Bohdan Gubernat. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of the city cemetery in the village of Chukalivka, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
