- Andriy Mykhailovych Buyna was born on September 1, 1996, in the village of Ivano-Frankove, Yavoriv Raion, Lviv Oblast. In 2015, he graduated from the art vocational technical school named after Y.P. Stanka. From April 28, 2016, to March 19, 2023, he served in the military in the 27th and 7th border detachments and in the canine training center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. On March 19, 2022, Andriy Buyna was appointed to the position of border service inspector of the 1st category — senior scout of the 1st group of ground reconnaissance in the reconnaissance unit of the rapid response border command of the 7th border detachment of the State Border Guard Service. On January 12, 2023, staff sergeant Andriy Buyna, as part of the consolidated unit "Volyn," was dispatched to the area of direct combat with the occupying forces of the Russian Federation. Despite constant mortar and artillery shelling inflicted by the enemy on Ukrainian positions in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Soledar, and Blahodatne in Donetsk Oblast, Andriy Buyna carried out all combat missions bravely and heroically. On January 29, 2023, during a firefight in the area of the town of Blahodatne, staff sergeant Andriy Buyna sustained injuries incompatible with life. For his courage and selfless actions demonstrated during the performance of his official duties in ensuring the protection of the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, staff sergeant Andriy Mykhailovych Buyna was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the 3rd degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
