- Soldier Andriy Bulhaz (call sign Czech) was killed on October 6, 2022, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region. Near the village of Pervomaiske, the fighter came under enemy artillery fire and sustained fatal injuries. He was 41 years old. Andriy was born in the village of Subottsi in the Kirovohrad region. He stu at the Znamianka Vocational School, where he trained as a driver. He worked as a builder abroad. He was passionate about military affairs and loved visiting military museums. He lived with his family in the village of Mykhailivka in Mykolaiv region. On the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion, February 24, 2022, Andriy went to defend Ukraine. He joined the ranks of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a driver. “Andriy was a good family man and a wonderful father. Brave and devoted to his homeland. When the war began, he volunteered to defend Ukrainian lands, his home, and his children. Honest and hardworking. We lived together for 13 wonderful years. My love for him will never fade in my heart. No matter how hard it is, we are proud of Andriy. You are always with us; I feel your support and care for us. We love and miss you unbearably,” said the wife of the fallen soldier. Andriy was buried in his native village. He is survived by his parents, sister Olha, wife Kateryna, daughter Kira, and son Vadym.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
