Andrii M. Khodanitskyi

Andrii Mykolaiovych Khodanytskyi was born on June 11, 1996, in the village of Yavtuhy, Derazhnia district, Khmilnytskyi region, in a large family. His father, Mykola Vasylovych, was a skilled craftsman. His mother, Olena Mykhailivna, worked as a milkmaid all her life and was awarded the title of "Mother Heroine". After the death of his father, the entire responsibility for the family fell on Andrii's shoulders. After graduating from Yavtuhy school, Andrii Khodanytskyi studied at the Barskyi Vocational Construction Lyceum, specializing in "Bricklayer, Plasterer, and Insulation Installer". Since 2017, Andrii has been a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation, and since February 24, 2022, he has been defending his homeland. He died on April 30, 2022, in the city of Popasna, Luhansk region, when an enemy mine took his life. His mother and six brothers and sisters are left without Andrii. He is buried in the village of Yavtuhy, Derazhnia territorial community.
