Andrii M. Kytseliuk (Solovei, Prizrak SОl)

Andriy Mykolayovych Kytsyliuk was born on December 2, 1976, in Chernivtsi. Since 2019, he served under contract as the commander of a landing assault section of the landing assault platoon of the landing assault company of the 80th Air Assault Brigade. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was with his unit in Mykolaiv region. He was killed on February 25, 2022, in a fierce battle with Russian occupiers in Mykolaiv region. The serviceman fearlessly repelled the attack of the Russian enemy and did not retreat even at the cost of his own life. He was buried on March 5, 2022, in the Central Cemetery of Chernivtsi. He is survived by his wife and two sons, the elder of whom joined a territorial defense unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after his father's death.
