Andrii M. Ladik

Born on June 22, 1976, in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region. Graduated from general education school No. 11 in Lozova, then from the Sloviansk College of Civil Aviation of the Kyiv International University of Civil Aviation (now the Sloviansk College of the National Aviation University, in the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk region). Lived and worked in the city of Lozova. In June 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent military training at the 169th Training Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). He served in the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi (since 2016 - Lyman) district, Odesa region). From July to August 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 17, 2015, soldier Ladik was killed by a sniper's bullet during a battle at a checkpoint near the city of Marinka, Donetsk region. On August 19, 2015, he was buried at the Central Cemetery of the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region.
