Andrii M. Lebekhivskyi (MakKvin)

Soldier Andrii Lebehivskyi (call sign MacQueen) was killed on January 24, 2023 near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. During the performance of a combat mission, the fighter received fatal injuries as a result of enemy artillery shelling. He was forever 27 years old. Andrii was born in the village of Polovetske, Zhytomyr region. He studied at the local school. Then he acquired the profession of a construction carpenter, a carpenter at the Berdychiv Vocational Construction Lyceum. He worked in construction in Kyiv. In recent years, he lived in Zhytomyr. In his free time, he loved to go with a metal detector, he loved fishing. He never sat idle. During the full-scale war, Andrii fought for Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a fighter of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. He held the position of driver of the anti-aircraft missile platoon of the artillery battery. "In early May 2022, he went to the army himself, he couldn't sit at home. There are no more such people like him. He was a good father, a beloved husband, a loving son and brother, who would always come to help. He was a smiling person, with whom nothing was scary. He always said: 'Well, what's wrong? I'm right here.' He was the support for the family. He dreamed of many things and wanted to do them, but did not have time. He spent so little time with his son Mykhailo and daughter Yuliia. For us, he is a hero who will forever remain in our hearts. We will always remember him, he was the light in our lives. I love you so much," said the wife of the fallen Nelina. The paratrooper was buried at the Smolianskyi military cemetery in Zhytomyr. At home, Andrii was awaited by his parents, sister, wife, daughter and son.
