      • Born on December 13, 1977, in the village of Povstanske, Bilyaivka District, Odesa Oblast. Graduated from a general education school. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a scout in the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666, the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi District (since 2016 - Lymanskyi District), Odesa Oblast). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 8, 2014, soldier Shapoval was killed in battle near the village of Pisky in the Yasynuvata District of Donetsk Oblast. He is buried in the cemetery of the village of Povstanske, Bilyaivka District, Odesa Oblast.
