- Senior Sergeant Andrii Berlovs (call sign Sych) was killed on January 20, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the Kreminna area of Luhansk region. In December, the defender turned 48 years old. Andrii was from the city of Skvyra in Kyiv region. After finishing school, he obtained the profession of gas and electric welder at Skvyra Vocational School No. 29. In 1995-2004, he worked in the Skvyra District Police Department. In 2004, he was transferred to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv region, where he worked for 13 years. In 2017, he retired after years of service. He lived with his family in Kyiv. He worked as a security guard at the Keramkhol company. In 2021, the man enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract. He served in the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. He was a sniper. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, he defended Ukraine from the occupiers along with his comrades-in-arms. "He was a good, sensitive, loving father and beloved husband," said the widow of the fallen soldier. The paratrooper was buried in his hometown. At home in Andrii were waiting his wife Tamila, son Bohdan, and daughter Yulia.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
