Andrii O. Brodnikov

Sergeant Andriy Brodnykov was killed on November 11, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Olhivka in the Kherson region. The soldier was 44 years old. Andriy was from the Vinnytsia region. He lived in the village of Luka-Meleshkivska. He graduated from the Vinnytsia Cooperative College. He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later, he was engaged in business and had a share in a company that traded in construction materials. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing. In December 2021, he decided to enlist in military service under a contract. He was the deputy commander of a BMP in the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he continued to defend his homeland from the occupiers alongside his comrades. "Eternal memory! Friend, we will not forget and will not forgive!" wrote Ruslan Sagaydak. Andriy was buried in Luka-Meleshkivska in the Vinnytsia region. He is survived by his mother, brother, son, and daughter.
